This four drawer chest is of solid wood construction. Special care is incorporated in the design to allow for natural wood movement. Aromatic cedar dust shields in the panels between the drawers offers a lovely useful scent. The drawers have through dovetails in the back and half-blind dovetails in the front. The drawer bottoms are handcrafted of solid walnut panels. The back is made using the frame-and-panel method. The finish is a durable tung oil, linseed oil and urethane wipe-on mixture.
